How the stages work
Researching means you're checking fit and eligibility. Writing is for applications in progress, Submitted once it's sent, then Awarded or Declined when you hear back. Set your own due date a week or two before the funder's deadline so there's time for sign-offs, and keep the program officer's name and what you asked for in the notes.
